Guitarist and Songwriter Jesse Peters hails from Saxtons River, VT and has been an integral part of the Southern VT music scene for over 20 years. Jazz-trained in Philadelphia and with a wealth of playing and writing experience, Peters incorporates elements of jazz, rock and folk into his original compositions, drawing from sources as diverse as John Scofield and John Prine. In the last analysis, his songs are melodic, accessible and even catchy, with subjects ranging from a young man's journey into war to Owls calling from the Vermont woods.
